looks just like the T25 from the outside, and uses the same T25 mounting frames, making upgrading
existing T25 installations easy. A new T26 keypad has been released, but the T26 door station also
still works with the T25 keypad and Info modules. As with other Mobotix Mx6 series cameras, the T26 uses a more
powerful dual-core CPU to deliver up to twice as many images per second at the same resolution, or to support
more simultaneous image processing and home automation functions. The new Mobotix T26 home automation door station also
supports an integrated H.264 encoder and follows the ONVIF standard for video transmission and camera
integration, which may simplify integration of Mobotix home automation cameras in some larger systems
– though the T26 also still supports the unique Mobotix MxPEG codec which remains a superior compression
format for storing clearer individual frames for surveillance applications.
